What is PUWER?
The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations, often abbreviated to PUWER, place duties on people and companies who own, operate or have control over work equipment. PUWER also places responsibilities on companies whose employees use work equipment, whether owned by them or not. We show you that PUWER compliance doesn't have to be an impediment to your work.

European Conformity
To supply products on the market in the European Economic Area (EEA), CE Marking is mandatory. With the CE marking on a product the manufacturer ensures that the product conforms with the essential requirements of the applicable EC directives.
PUWER is the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations and requires users of work equipment to carry out regular risk assessments which are documented and kept on file. Most importantly, those risk assessments must address each of the Regulations under PUWER. The regulations require that all provided work equipment is suitable for its intended task and can be used without putting persons at risk.

in most cases EMF is probably one of the simplest Regulations to comply with. If it seems complicated, time consuming and expensive, you're probably doing it wrong. We have a simple three step approach to ensuring your risks due to EMF are addressed.
1. Assess where there may be a risk and to whom.
2. Quantify or measure the EM field.
3. Sign off or solve the issue.
The Machinery Directive has been enforceable in the UK since the mid 90’s and harmonised standards adopted or produced in the UK for a similar period.
The UK Government have stated that the UK will not be adopting an alignment approach with the EU. Although we formally left the EU at 23:00 GMT on Thursday 31st December, there is a transitional period in place.

A textile manufacturing company and one of its directors, Wazir Hussain were sentenced after a fatal accident to the company’s Managing Director, 36 year old Nasir Hussain.
A maintenance company has appeared in court after a worker suffered serious injuries after falling 7 metres. The worker, suffered fractures to his left foot in the incident on the 9 July 2014.
The incident was investigated by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) which found serious safety failings by Valmet Limited, an embedded contractor for the paper mill where the incident occurred at Manchester Road, Carrington, Manchester.
We are excited to announce that our team has moved to a new location in Wellingborough. This is almost a double celebration for us, after completing our first ten years in business at our previous address, we are moving onwards and upwards.
We spent the previous years in the old Unilever Research Lab in Finedon, a building about 2 miles away from our new location. Our old office served us well, and we made great memories (and an EMC lab!) there, but we couldn't be more excited about our new space.
