PUWER
inspections

If you are an employer or self-employed person and you provide equipment for use at work, or if you have control of the use of equipment, then PUWER will generally apply to you.

Our engineers carry out thorough PUWER inspections, focusing on safety-critical components that could affect the capability of the equipment being operated more safely.

Machinery
assessments

The design and installation of the equipment will be measured, and we will bring any problems to your attention. For example, if an item has a non-compliant safety-related control circuit, inadequate guarding or requires UKCA/CE marking, we will tell you.

Comprehensive machinery assessments

Fulfil the requirements of the Provision of Use and Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER), as well as training seminars on-site or at a venue of your choice.

Competent sign-off

We make thorough checks after making safety upgrades to the machinery. Whether your upgrades are completed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer, a third-party subcontractor or your staff, MSCS can inspect your equipment and provide certification for physical compliance with PUWER regulations.

Incident investigation

Our expert consultants provide an independent, third-party assessment of the root cause and practical advice on corrective measures to prevent a recurrence. MSCS will also attend meetings and correspond with authorities on your behalf. We work for you to protect your business and your employees.
